f.rock fashion Revamps Community Fashion Parade

May 8, 2012

Caboolture Business Enterprise Centre held a fashion show at Caboolture RSL that was a resounding success. This is the third annual fashion show that CBEC have organised – the last event did not have a great outcome and had a huge negative impact on the reputation of the event, which thus reflected on CBEC.

We invited Helen to help organise the event as a consultant to overcome and realised we desperately needed outside help with that.

Helen Sattler injected a burst of focus, direction and enthusiasm into our Event that would have, without her input, been a complete flop. We are extremely grateful for Helen’s direction and would certainly recommend her to anyone for any event. She has a wonderful way of looking at a situation from the outside and instinctively knowing what would help and work out for the event. I am fully convinced that her talents can be useful for any event.

Developing a Fashion Business: Interview with Sacha Alagich from Escape to Paradise

May 8, 2012

What is the best thing about working with f.rock fashion?

When you are a designer, running your own business on you own, sometimes you feel alone and need someone to bounce ideas off. Helen from f.rock fashion and Launch My Label has so many years of experience and a vast amount of knowledge and was there to guide me through the tough times and to motivate me to take the big steps to expand the business.

What worked in your time with f.rock fashion?

The best thing about working with f.rock fashion is the networking and connections that re made. My whole world was expanded since I became a part of f.rock fashion and it opened up my eyes to so many possibilities. The only thing that didn’t work was when the business actually became too big for one person to handle and other sales reps had to be brought onboard to keep up with the demand that was there.

What system worked best for you?

Definitely the distribution system as this brought in more business and I could design more ranges as there was more cashflow.

Was it value for money?

YES it was! f.rock fashion heled me build my business to where it is today and gave me the confidence and connections to branch out into an industry that I was relatively new to 3 years ago.

Would you recommend f.rock fashion to others?

Yes for sure. It is an amazing network and great people to work with.
